This conference is being hosted by Australian Strings Association (AUSTA). This national association has been promoting excellence in string performance, teaching and instrument making to its members and the broader Australian string community for over 30 years. AUSTA hosts a national conference for the Australian string community every three years, the previous conference being hosted by the AUSTA's Queensland chapter in 2006.
